Allan Ahlberg on Peepo!
Allan Ahlberg is one of the country's top children's authors. Together with his wife Janet he created the modern classics Each Peach Pear Plum, Peepo! and The Jolly Postman, and since Janet's untimely death he has continued to work with other illustrators to produce a wide range of inventive storybooks. Allan has also written two acclaimed fictionalised accounts of his childhood, My Brother's Ghost and The Boyhood of Burglar Bill.
It's Peepo's 30th birthday and to celebrate Allan Ahlberg has recorded this great video about how he created the brilliant picture book with his wife Janet.
