Design a cover for Puffin Post magazine!

Puffin Post is inviting children across the country to design a cover for the two Puffin Post magazines. A selection of shortlisted designs will be displayed at the Imagine Festival at the Southbank Centre, and everyone who visits the festival can then vote for their favourite designs, which will be printed and posted to book-loving children across the world.

Your entry must have a sporty puffins theme and fit onto a piece of paper that measures 211mm high x 168mm wide. You can use paints, pencils, crayons, collage or any materials you like, but try to leave a space at the top so the magazine's logo doesn't cover your design. Download a blank Puffin Post cover:

Send in your entry along with your name, age and address and contact number to Puffin Book Club, Catteshall Manor, Catteshall Lane, Godalming, Surrey GU7 1UU. Mark all entries 'Design a cover for Puffin Post competition'.

Competition Terms & Conditions
1. No purchase necessary.
2. Promotions open to children aged 0 to 15 (unless otherwise stated) in the UK and Eire, and closed to employees of the Promoter, and their families or anyone else connected with the promotions.
3. Closing date and details of prizes are as stated in relevant entry details. Entries must be received by the closing date given in the relevant entry details.
4. No cash alternative will be offered to prizes.
5.Where the prize comprises an event at a particular location travel expenses to and from that location are not included in the prize unless otherwise stated.
6. Only one entry per person per promotion.
7. Winners will be selected as set out in the relevant entry details. The decision of the Puffin Book Club is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Address for entry is the postal or e-mail address provided in the relevant entry details.
9. Winners will be notified by the date provided in the relevant entry details.
10. For details of winners, send a S.A.E. marked 'PBC Competition Winners' to Puffin Book Club, Catteshall Manor, Catteshall Lane, Godalming GU7 1UU, at least one week after the winners notification date.
11. No responsibility will be taken for entries that are damaged, illegible, incomplete, and lost or delayed in the post or otherwise fail to reach the Promoter by the closing date. Entry forms will not be returned to entrants.
12. Entries will not be accepted via agents, third parties or in bulk. Any such entries will be invalid.
13. Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
14. By entering the Competition you agree that: i) your entry can be used by Puffin Book Club as they see fit. ii) your entry is original to you and not wholly or substantially copied from any other material.
15. The Promoter will only use entrants personal information in connection with these promotions. All personal details will be destroyed once the winner has been announced.
16. It is a condition of entry that all entrants agree to be bound by these rules and are asked to retain a copy of these rules for any future reference.
