Marcia Williams seems to go from strength to strength with every book, and following on from her fascinating war diaries, My Great Lost Dog Adventure! is another wonderful treasure that I just love to read my nieces and nephews! Does anyone know what she is writing next?!

My dog-crazy daughter likes this book but, because of the layout, it's very tricky to read to her and is too difficult for a 5 year old to read alone so it doesn't get picked up that often.

This is a perfect book for any child who already has a dog or would dearly like to have one, or indeed anyone who loves dogs. Full of doggy information plus a heroic role for a grandma! As always Marcia Williams' illustrations are absolutely charming and I challenge anyone to look at page 34 without smiling...
